GET is an application behaving like a container of many information on companies around the world. The sources of the information about companies comes from Bureau Van Dijk Electronic Publishing (http://www.bvdep.com/), with whom VADIS has a solid partnership.
One important information among companies is their legal links (or participation links). Unfortunately, all links among companies form a huge web in which it is nearly always possible to state that one company has some interests in any another one. This huge graph makes it difficult to understand the structure of linked companies in groups. One of the major advantage of the GET is there: it shows the inherent structure of groups of companies. In order to achieve this, VADIS is developing proprietary algorithms to identify coherent groups of companies, as well as their hierarchical structures.
GET is also a container for additional information on companies that can be represented in the graphs. For example, a rating on bankruptcy risk, or a rating on the risk to be sold in the next 18 months (Merge & Acquisition). These ratings are generic and are available for the majority of the companies belonging to the GET.
GET can also be a container of information of your own company by tuning the data base to your needs. We can, for example, identify your clients in the data base, which will let you see how you can cross-fertilize existing clients with good prospects in the same group. Or we can build predictive models that score all companies in the countries of your choice for their propensity to be a good prospect for you of for any of your product line. We can customize the GET to suit your own risk or marketing needs.
